Thanks for posting your type here. We also invited the Two is Enough Facebook fans and The Childfree Life (TCFL) goodreads.com book club to do the Carl Jung and Isabel Myers-Briggs topology personality test and post their types and out of the 45 people who did so by January 20 we had a whopping 16 INTJs.
This is significant because INTJs are rare, said to represent only 1 percent of the general population but represented 34 percent of this childfree population. The next types in line were ISTJ (representing 11 %) and INFJ (representing 11 %) and ISFJ (representing 9%) and ENTJ (representing 9%). Note all the Judgers here.
Of course, this was not a representative or scientific survey by any stretch. However, the results do beg real research on this theory.
Any doctorate students out there willing to take this on?

I am a childfree INFJ.
Just found your site and I'm INTJ...can't wait to follow along.
Add another childfree INTJ!
Actually a correction... We're childless by choice and I'm INTJ, while she is EFSJ.
Thanks for posting your types here. I'm still tallying results and I'll give an update soon!
Childfree ESTJ
Here's the update. After tallying all the responses from this blog and the Two is Enough facebook page and The Childfree Life book club on Goodreads.com, I found that 40 percent of those who responded (from a group of 58) were INTJs.
ISFJ's were second at 12 percent and INFJ's were third at 10 percent. While 9 percent of this sample of childfree by choice respondents were ENTJ's (the close extroverted cousin to the INTJ) the majority respondents were introverts. Same was true of the Judgers--they far outnumbered the Perceivers in this group.
What does this mean? It means there may very well be a personality component to the choice to remain childfree, or this may mean that INTJ's are just more inclined to participate in these types of surveys.
What do you think?
Very interesting- I am a childfree INTP.
Wow! I started blogging about being a happily child-free INTJ just a few months ago, never having seen all of these blogs and books on the subject. It's great to find you! I'm at anklebitingterrier.com (dogs are my kids)
INTJ here, just find your blog, being reading a few more about this, I am a 25 year old historian and child free, at least by now and for some years want to stay like this, and I am 100% that if I decide to have children, I would adopt, no reason to have a biological child. My boyfriend thinks the same, he is planning to have a vasectomy, and even though I am worried (because don't want to push him or see him regret this), I couldn't be happier.
Ha! Found this site because I'm a young adult lady who would seriously consider being child-free for life... and I'm an INTJ.
interesting. i'm a childfree INFP, and it looks like i'm in the minority here. oh well!
LOL! I'm an INFP too. I too am hugely enjoying this blog!
And yet another CF INTJ here. Amazing results!
I've also heard that there is a similar phenomenon, here and in Japan, concerning the relationship of INTJ's and business executives.
I'm a childfree INFJ. I think you ought to know that introverted intuitives and especially INTJs are heavily overrepresented on the internet at large, so having 40% of your respondents being INTJ is actually consistent with the results of just about any other internet poll. If this were a support group, I think you'd find more NFs, but given the uh...flavour...of the issue, NTs are going to predominate.
Both my husband and I are happily childfree. He's an INTJ, and interestingly enough, i'm an ENFP :)

Sounds like you balance each other out perfectly! Thanks for contributing!
Childfree INFJ (myself) and INTJ (hubby) here :)
